Also, is it considered procrastination if you clean the kitchen so it sparkles as a way to avoid cleaning your room?

I hate to break it to you, but yes, it is.  That is actually a pretty common procrastination technique -- substituting a "good" thing I want to do for a "good" thing I don't want to do. Like doing the laundry, making keep in touch calls to long lost friends, trying that new recipe  I've been meaning to try.  All good things but all considered procrastination if what I'm supposed to be doing is cleaning the oven. lol.

How do I know this?  Because I read several halves of really good books on curing procrastination.  Never got around to finishing those books ...  Grin
