I'm at the same studio as ee so she has already done the picture for me. I also go to Viva Dance in Toronto but don't have a picture of it.
Here you are R - viva dance:
its enormous and during the day the light fills the place with all the windows.

somehow I missed this thread developing
Medira - where is that studio? In the sates? The small studio looks larger than ours!
Em - its lovely and do inviting - hang on, just get my shoes....
MK - its DELIGHTFUL! Collapsing on the couch spent and with feet in glorious aches... pass the mint julep OK?
Elise - That's Joy of Dance on Broadview and Danforth. The small studio is smaller than Elite's. It's good for latin, but pretty useless for standard. The larger room is pretty comparable, though maybe a bit larger than the large floor at OLSI. The jazz floor (third studio room up on the fourth floor) is about the same size as the small studio floor.

Wow, another place I haven't been to in a LONG time...
Actually, I should see if I can find pictures of my studios in the US

Okay...my studio homes away from home:
Ballroom off Fifth. I remember the first time I walked into that studio, it caught me completely off-guard. As soon as the elevator doors open, you're on the dance floor! No warning, no nothing. It was one of those *eep!* moments, especially when I took a minute too look around at the calibre of dancing on the floor... hoo-boy!
Dance Studio 101. I love the decor in this studio, it's quite different from others that I've been to and it lends a lovely atmosphere to it.
...and I can't find a picture of the studio in Stamford, so...

I like that studio
. I would also call it one of my homes away from home.
When I studied the picture really careful I actually saw one of my kids in that picture.

gorgeous pictures M - wouldn't be neat to organize a bus tour of great dance studios? Go between a few large cities and visit top studios and work with thier coaches....

I wish I could take credit for them, but it was simply my Google Fu.
NYC is a fantastic spot for coachings.

Now that would explain a lot, given what I've read in some of your posts... I was taking lessons from the gentleman in that chatty group. Love him to pieces too.
