Dunno about favourite movie...it was pretty dodgy, but I have a new favourite quote.
'Don't be so gloomy. After all it's not that awful. Like the fella says, in Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love - they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock.'

I laughed all through that movie. It is really so true. I remember doing a lecture and the translator kept going and going. When I then asked her if I really said all that she just nodded. I then answered a really extensive question and she said something really short.
I still have no idea if she really translated what I said or not. Oh well, too late to wonder about that.

Hehe!
So, are you recommending murder and mayhem to solve the worlds ills?

thats another gory movie...
mind you I have seen real footage of the market bombing in Sarajevo
http://news.bbc.co.uk/onthisday/hi/dates/stories/february/5/newsid_2535000/2535435.stm
(no footage only witness accounts)
I just think neither real nor recreated nor fictional carnage is particularly pleasant to watch.

You should check out Young Sherlock Holmes. A really well done movie and everyone I know that saw it loved it. Of course it was out a few years ago so now you will have to rent it.
