that's the problem with that expression "Gobal Warming"...the planet is warming but the weather will become more extreme. We have had temperatures recorded that are so high up to 50+ in the outback. we in the cities have had to deal with 45+....things are changing and not necessarily for the better!

You have to fight through a lot of crap before you find your way up out of the toilet. Sometimes I think I have a good hold on the rim then I slip back in. Each time I don't sink quite as deep though. - Rugby

rain rain and more rain - 8 inches in 4 hours on Saturday. Place 1 hour to the south east of us got 32inches of rain in 1 day on Saturday. Plus 60 mile and hour winds. Lots of trees down and houses flooded. mm

32inches? if that had been snow it would have bee 32 feet (about 10 meters!).
Surely close to the record for one day? I can't imagine it, 1 inch is A Lot of Water...

from what i hear there are new re ords broken, this flood on top of the 2011 floods, itwill be so hard for people tonget affordable insurance.

When we arrived it was -3 degrees and snowing, the snow has now gone and have had the gamet ofnrain, hail and wind! Tod it has been its warmest at 10 degrees. Almost pleasant.

Well, we are back to spring. 12C tomorrow. Today we had strong rain with thunder and lightening. Can you believe it.

Well, we are back to winter...it was -5 last night. I don't think any of the plants outside have survived this winter. We are having record chill hours here.
