I have friends who dance a lovely AT; I have seen her wearing combat boots to dance it and she was, as always, wonderful.

I danced AT with someone in combat boots a couple of weeks ago - heh she found it difficult to stand on her toes but otherwise it was great!

(this was at the end of the evening when I couldnt stop dancing - who cared what they were wearing?!)

I have to admit I get a chuckle out of the title of this thread... in auto racing, "contact" is a euphamism for "crash".

When you get older you can lose them under your armpits when laying down at night.
