i have often thought that being married might be nice..
I have often thought the same thing. Question is: is this an odd thing?
Probably not. If would only be odd if someone
did
marry me

OK I was going to put Glass Blowing too , but instead I'll have :
- Octopush ! (playing a form of ice hockey in a swimming pool)
- Eating in a restaurant in the dark (there is a restaurant like this in London but havent found anyone to go with)
- Swimming long distance (I want to do this in the Caribbean not from Dover
)
Great thread this one!

Done the hang-gliding - it was exhilirating but errr terrifying at the same time ...
I thought of another one last night :
- Stand in the middle of a male voice choir (OK and sing if I really have to)
Failing which, can I be the arm that Andrea Bocelli leans on when he's performing?

Not that long, but when I lived in Ft. Lauderdale, I once swam around the end of the Lauderdale-by-the-Sea pier. I guessed the total distance was about 800 yards, and I was probably about 250 yards offshore at the max. (Needless to say, there were no lifeguards there back then.)
Another interesting thing I did when I lived there was that I went a whole weekend, from the time I left work Friday afternoon to the time I went back to work on Monday morning, without speaking a single word.

this is one of the few topics I have not posted on - I think the reason is that everything odd that I want to try I think I tried. Its not that I am that adventuresome its just that I have a filter for things that I think I can and want to do - so the odd factor gets removed.
At least they are not odd to me
though I hasten to add they may be to everyone else...
