I just saw this couple on the Australian Open results (DSI):

Mario Cicala & Bianca Tonizzo  Australia

Is Bianca another member of the renown Tonizzo ballroom family (one member is here in Ontario - Richard)?

Waht I have been finding at the moment that  all the stop Aussie dancers move overseas and often end up dancing for another  country...like England, not sure why that is, but they have to move to keep up the competition, it is not enough to be the big fish in a small bowl which is what it is dancing in Australia

I think you've hit the problem - plus the enourmous distances.  We are also a small (dance) country but its possible to be a big fish in this bowl and also compete/train relatively easily in England - so you get the best of both worlds (so to speak).

Well it all part of their career and their journey, it is such a short window of opportunity for most.
