Just check in with my local swing dance group and found out that they have a new promotion for the upcoming Tuesday night party.  Intermediate and above male leads get in free.   
Harumph! I thought when i read this.  Then I realized that this is not the first time I've seen something like this.  Isn't this pretty much the same thing as dance hosting? Except that dance hosts actually get paid, most of the time.

Have we sunk so far that we have to actually BRIBE men to get them to dance?

Ha - I remember back in the disco days when women got in free!

Its just supply and demand - a skill gives a person value.  Noone bats an eyelid when it happens to celebrities or political figures, why shouldn't the same courtesy be offered to a dancer in need?  I bet some studios might even pay them...

If you must leave the house, go build a home...
