it is mandatory by my pro .... whether i like it or not. trust me .... i dare not disobey

It was also mandatory by my teacher. He would check the makings on the floor and if they were not clear I had to do them again. If I protested then there was no lesson until he had seen me do a 1000 heel turns. Tongue

In the begining I used to call then hell turns.   Wink

That's hilarious.

I warm up and cool down. I wont go outside in cold weather either until I have stopped perspiring.....the older you get the more important it is.

The chill factor hasn't been an issue for me for quite some time, because it rarely gets cold enough to cause problems, where I live.   A few extreme weather days in the middle of winter is usually the extent of the problem.  But muscles tightening is a big problem for me, if I do't take the time to coll down and stretch, no matter how hot it is outside.

I warm up with free dancing - with a lot of heel turns Tongue  I can't imagine doing 1K of them one after another though.  I wonder how many heels she got through Tongue
