Funny.  If Epic had been released a year or two ago, I'm sure  DS would have insisted on seeing it.  I guess he's growing up. Sixteen. *sigh*

Despicable Me  looks good.  Enjoy it while you can --  Having a sprog to take to the cinema as an excuse for seeing sprog movies, that is.  It passes quickly,as I am finding out.

I remember going through the young teens phase - I saw all the terminator movies!  Actually, they were pretty good...

I suppose I should be glad that DS is still willing to be seen in my company at the movies.  I suppose this stage will pass, as well.   Then come the girlfriends.  *sigh*

Hi everyone!
Ah - movies.  Today is Independence Day, the 4th of July, and I've spent the afternoon watching Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra in "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" and "Anchors Aweigh" (Gene Kelly dances with the mouse - phenomenal), and now Jimmy Cagney in "Yankee Doodle Dandy" - all on Turner Classic Movies.  I just LOVE old movies - 40s, 50s, and early 60s.  I go through the TCM schedule and DVR movies to watch when there's nothing else on.

Hope everyone had a good day!

I love old movies, too!!  Yay!!

Favorite: It Happened One Night, best Picture 1934, starring Clark Gable  and Claudette Colbert.
Favorite lines from this movie:  (How could i possibly pick one?)

"Young people in love are very seldom hungry"     "Piggy-back?!?  Your Daddy doesn't know beans about piggy back!"

Ahhh.
