I actually had one guy say, "Change your FB settings then repost this on your wall. If you don't repost it, I will remove you from my friend list."

I understand that there is a privacy issue with FB sharing things he's shared, but still.  How aggressive!

My answer to him would have been - please, and if you don't I will.

I don't think anyone seems to appreciate the complete breakdown of privacy and personal rights that FB represents.  The more I get into it the more scary it is...

His issue was that FB,without warning, changed privacy settings so that any of his FB friends could forward his posts without his permission.

I understand why he wanted me to change my settings.  I found his demand that I do so almost as intrusive as FB's setting change.  I decided to forgive his hamfisted demand. I changed my settings to protect my FB friends'privacy, and I sent him a personal message to assure him I'd done so.  My wall belongs to me.  I will make my statements, not yours, even if I love you. Done and done.

I see - he really did have a legit gripe.  Still, he could have been a bit more face-ish about it Tongue

Absolutely. His gripe was legitimate.  His communication skills not so much.

I hate it when the cashiers ties knots in those flimsy plastic bags so that I cannot reuse them.
