Do you wear cologne/perfume when you go out dancing?  Do you have preferences about whether your partners do?  If so, light or heavy?  Any preferred fragrances or fragrances to avoid?

I am very sensitive to smell so  I tend not to wear any fragrance.  I wonder how others feel about this.

I think perfume has become socially unacceptable because of the number of people with allergies.
Personally, I think it stinks and the worst thing of all is someone who tries to use it to disguise their own odors...

I don't mind if a gentlemen wears a very light scent but, personally, the smell I prefer is the smell of clean.

If you're going to wear scent, please don't drown yourself in it.  That's all I am sayin. Smiley

That would make for an interesting social dance!  Wink

I think I'll stick with freshly showered plus lightly scented deodorant.  That way, even if/when your perspire, you smell just fine ...unless you've eaten something that seeps out of your pores.

Seriously. If you come from a culture that's heavy on garlic, rethink that, if you decide to get into dance.

Spicy dinner + dancing definitely not a good mix

perhaps you should think of a different occupation - hang gliding for example Roll Eyes

Or dance with another garlic-eater..  fast...

Oh the other hand, it ensures your partner keeps his/her head out to the left!  Grin

That's the thing.  Some things, like habitual heavy garlic consumption or heavy drinking, cannot be concealed with breath mints.  the stuff comes out of your pores. Blech.

I sat on the tram the other day with someone who have very strong cologne and it made me feel sick. I cant wear perfume  for that reason. unless it is a very soft scent my nose blocks up straight away and I can breath properly  Embarrassed
