England is the only country I know that has a tax on television ownership.  Its a sure fire route to antagonism....

to compete I have been training everyday...focusing on connection with my partner, trying to be better at your turn my turn. I feel we are making incremental improvements daily

It might be silly, but to compete I've been losing weight and tried to work out to have a better shape. Wink

I don't know if you mean that literally or not ( I am not asking,) but I know people who have bankrupted themselves for dance.  I would have, if I'd been single when I first started dancing, but I was married at the time and then-Husband had control of *some* of the money. Grin  Later, I still dance but I was a single Mom and did't have the luxury of thinking only of my own pleasure.

Just *wait* until DS goes to college (which is already paid for.)  It's gonna be on!!   Shocked Cheesy

To answer the OP in more positive terms, I've also enriched myself with many new friends and many, many irreplaceable experiences. Smiley
