Everyone moved on to other virtual places and these sites - loved as they were for the intimacy and contact - became lost, like a teddy bear sitting in the corner of a vacated child's room.  When we grow up and move on we don't give a thought to the place we lived in and were secure - until later in life the comfort and closeness of the room comes back to mind.  And then there is un unbelievably strong urge to return, return to simple, purposeful, secure living.

But when we do they may find that the loved bedroom has been turned, perhaps, into a studio or TV room or is occupied by a boarder with dirty socks and loud rock music.  Or their family sold the house.  Or that the house has now been divided into flats - or knocked down - and maybe now its spot is part of a bland motorway junction..

And so may go PDO...

I hope not. Personally, though I may only drop by every so often now, i hope PDO stays as is. It's still my number one place to go when I'm missing dancing. I love going back through the old (and any new) topics and getting back into the dancer frame of mind. And reading up on how the PDO family is going, those that still drop by. Family, to me, that's what we are, though we may not catch up often, when we do it's always fun.
