Ay thoughts?  Not just the pre or post dance warmup stretches. I'm looking for exercises that, over time, can help me become more flexible.  Any recommendations?

my physio says the best warm up is walking! so when I start my lesson I walk around the room before moving into side chasses lowering through the chasses.. then I do calf and hamstring stretches as well as side stretches.

warm the muscles slowly before starting and remember to do the cool down as well

I heard that tai chi is one of the best as you keep moving through a lot of shapes.

Yoga (please don't ask me what kind -- the kind they do at the gym  Grin) has been very helpful to me in gradually growing my flexibility.
