Establishing a Dance club/society?

Im hoping to establish a Dance Society on Hilton Head Island.  Ive a independent  local dance teacher help me.  
What are some of the issues? Any experience with doing this here? I would prefer to establish a non profit,
non membership club. This is what I was used to in NJ, see :

 I'd like to do the same on HHI.
