well not sure as I am still in my dance partnership. but not turning up to practice or when you are spending most of the lesson arguing about who has done what or why... Roll Eyes

I had two partners did that (well, not with my "best" friend - but a pretty good friend.). One with a happy ending and the other one...let's now get into the mess Smiley.

Not sure if I got it - but I think what she meant was that, if your partner doesn't want to keep the 3rd place trophy (the one s/he won it with you), maybe that is a subtle sign that s/he thinks that s/he could do better (with someone else), or something like that...Or maybe they just won too many first places and couldn't fit the trophy in the room Grin.
