Result reporting

There has been an amazing improvement in the speed that results are reported - and also in the variety.

In NA yuou can often get very quick results on Dance Forums - but its patchy and depends on who is there. 'Supershag' reports by photographing the finalists of many (but not all of course) heats - and they also cover pro-am results which can usually only be obtained by waiting till the competition announces them.

Eventually the (AM or PRO) results appear on dancesportinfo (DSA) but this is also patchy and depends on someone sending them in if it is not a major comp. However, this remains the best source for international results other than (sometimes) the competition itself.

However, competition reporting is shown the biggest improvements - the electronic heat-list programs seem to include a 'results list' built in so that the former turns into the latter. Some of these are spotty though, making you go back to an earlier page and go through the search again for each result of a specific dancer.

One interesting approach is to simply download a PDF of all the score sheets. This is fine for a competitor - but noone else can understand it because I've never seen them give a list of dancers back-numbers/names to interpret the score sheets!
