well, you just did Cheesy  the first step is to let people know you are here.  The buttons at the top:

Are most useful to find whats currently being talked about and who has answered your posts.  Then just go to the home page and look around.  Also, look in the Announcements board (right at the top of the home page) and browse some of the early topics that explain a few features.
