well I hope they all get together soon...dancesport Australia published a statement on their website, which was the ultimate fence-sitting... not very helpful at all. The simple solution is for each end organization to simply join both. That would solve it in one step - and then let the organizations try to figure it out. |

I don’t know what the repercussions are of this world wide but dancing has to fix this problem power! is the name of the game and not what is best for dancing. I don't know 'how' this can be fixed. Many dancers in Australia are afraid to stand up for themselves as the industry here is so small and the repercussions so large. They are afraid of DSA and the ADS. Matt and Anna have acheived so much and are internationally known so this won't harm them much, probably the opposite. But for those who are still wanting to achieve, speaking out could end their careers, literally Read the articles on the Dancesport Australia site - I don't see any sunshine on the horizon any time soon.  |

Its a thought - but could I stand watching while everyone else is having fun? Besides, they only let past-performers become top flight judges. Better I take over the world ballroom dance organizations. Both of them. |
