Billboard Top Hits -- What Would You Dance to This?

AKA the thread for non-cheesy dance music. If you were out with your dance buddies and this song started to play, what would you dance? Feel free to add songs/videos of your choice. The only request is that songs be pop music of any era, not remixed for ballroom versions. Something you might hear on the radio. (30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, etc music okay.
Just no strict-tempo comp remixes.)
Today's #1 hit on the Billboard top 100 -- Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. Can't Hold Us. What would you dance? Feel free to skip the intro.

How about this? Billboard #2 Pink -- Just Give Me a Reason.
Rumba? Bolero? NC2S? Any thoughts?

got me there - I don't follow billboard music anymore, too much classical I have to catch up on. Perhaps when I've finished that

So what're you gonna do when you go to a wedding where the DJ plays top 40? lol
I'm a big, big fan of classical, as well, but music is what it is. The last time I went to a wedding, a friend was the DJ, and he insisted on playing the George Clinton song, Atomic Dog. I think it must have been the 12 inch disco mix, because it lasted forever.

In situations like that, you have two choices that I can think of. Dance and possibly have fun or don't dance and wait for the evening to end. I usually dance.

But I don't have to know the tune to dance to it, in particular if I do the same dance everyone else in the wedding will be doing. It only has two moves -
step /
jiggle
/ step /
jiggle
step

But,if you can fit an actual dance to the music, why not take your moves out for a spin?

Indeed - but where are you going to find a championship lead at a wedding party? I guess I could hire my pro for the night - but then we could dance waltz to teh beastie boys anyway...

You're probably not gong to find a championship lead at a party. That does't mean you can't dance with the guys who
are
at the party, though.
For example, this song would probably be a good NC2S, for me. Kinda feels like bolero, but I think it's too slow. #3 on the Billboard Top 100 this week.

This is a four count, could do a foxtrot? But it is a song that would be a show case and you would change they style to thee tempo of the music. But latin it would be a rumba, to slow for ccc, we dont do bolero, so others knowing that style would say it fits.

Nice. I'm going to have to check out New Vogue, if I can ever find a place to do so.
