Hopefully. I am now dancing all the dances up to music except the Quickstep and V.Waltz and Jive. Just finsihed the Paso choreography and now getting the technique going. I have to try and start doing the other dances up to music but it is difficult when you worry about re-injury. I just have to do a bit at a time and work it up.

I know what you mean. you tend to be cautious because you dont want it to play up again......we have all under our elt except the quickstep. it is 3/4 done. but we will work on it again tomorrow.

found this article on Dancesport Info regarding Make-up has some very good tips.
This is a good article, and the contrast between the "good" and "bad" halves of her face is very helpful. She said she'd write more articles. I wonder if she did. I'll look for any more info, and post if I find anything.

Here's a link to another article. This one is about foundation, contour and highlighting, and includes a video tutorial.

I found it at her facebook page, danceportmakeup. Nice.

The dancesportinfo links are the only ones I've found that specifically referenced ballroom makeup, which has more in common with stage makeup than street makeup,I think. Are there any other good resources with tip for ballroom comp/performance makeup, or is it just a word of mouth thing?

We have all learnt to apply make up to suit our face. but I find it hard er now not being about to see without my glasses. I have tried contacts and that is tricky. My eyes go dry quickly and find it difficult to remove them. so I have to use lots of drops, so if I could see things would be better.

definitely not. there is something useful in them as far as materials and methods of application I guess, but the look you want to achieve is very very different.
Seems to me that it has softened somewhat of late: they used to say youcould not put on too much but that extreme is no longer the case
