Hey, this is my topic - right now.  I'm not dancing at all - I'm working, playing the violin and trying to stay mobile by walking a lot.  But dance?  Its gotta wait.

Actually, I have to rethink the whole thing Undecided

It is so hard, especially if dancing has been a top priority for a long time.  But you're right.  You can only spend your resources once, and that counts for both time and money.  *sigh*

yes.  I haven't even had my dancing shoes out of the bag since we danced in the Ozzies in December.  Doing lots of walking which I find so boring.  Its the first time in 35 years I haven't dance at all.  Even when we have stopped competing I was helping out in social classes so was still dancing at least twice a week but to go cold turkey was a biggee for me.  MM

Wow.  I'm not sure whether to say I'm sorry or to say that I admire your internal strength.

I too am not dancing this month, mostly because of needing to deal with some things at home but also because the options of places to dance have changed and narrowed.  And the places I can dance are 45 minutes away during the work week.  When my schedule gets too overloaded, I need to eliminate some things to get my stress level under control.  And my kitties and home have taken priority over dancing for right now.  Although, I will be going to a social tomorrow evening (Friday).

Priorities change.

I'm sure that dance will be back for many who are not dancing right now.  It's just cyclical.  Cool

Well, maybe we need more diversity Grin

I'd say you are the only active PDO member competing - we have a lot in the bin and some that drop in but don't say anything...
So on your and V's shoulders we rest...
