I have found that the comp dancers here tend to be far more accomodating thatn some of the soical dancers who get a bit miffed! Roll Eyes

Yeah...you guys are much nicer about us accidentally cutting you off/running into you than some of the social dancers. Grin

(Sorry, btw)
We are used to it - part ofthe game and we also know that one usually gets up without any broken body parts...

I have to say I'm having trouble following the conversation. Seems to me that social and competitive dancing are all mixed in here. tome, they're very different things and can sometimes even be dangerous to have on the floor together. Especially at socials with a mix of ability levels, competitive dance, especially routines, might not always be the rest idea.

I know of some competitive studios that run rounds, every so often.   To me, if there's an option to run rounds, that's a much better place for competitive dance.
