Welcome to PDO!
You'll find a wealth of knowledge and insight here.
It would be quite an experience to compete in China. ...maybe some day.

Welcome to the boards Jerry! Come on in and make yourself comfortable.
I look forward to seeing your perspective on a lot of our discussions.

Hey Jerry!
Welcome to PDO!!! We're a friendly bunch!
I am a Chinese too, but I live in Australia. I compete in International Standard and New Vogue (Australia & NZ). My partner and I would love to one day do a competition in China. But since it's been a long time since I last visited China, so maybe you could tell everyone a bit about the dancing scene in China!
Apparently dancesport is getting pretty big pretty quickly in China. I was at an International Championship on Sunday, and there were about a dozen or so Chinese Dancesport officials. We certainly made them feel welcome by introducing the evening program in both English and Chinese!

Hello all you familiar folks!
I dropped a cha for convenience (yours). Now you can call me chacha. Isn't that what Dennis Miller said a lot in the 90's? I never knew what that meant to civilians. I gathered it wasn't good.
Or chachacat.
Hi Dora! Hi Jerry! Nice to meet you. I'm in America, in Southern California, that mecca of ballroom dance. And salsa! And everything. We have eeeverything here. The ocean. South Coast Plaza. The Embassy Ball. We have it all. Usually I'm not so garrolous.
I am so happy to say that I am a ballroom dance instructor! I love teaching dance! I am happy and enjoying my life so much more now because of dancing. Yes, the old story is true once again. Dancing can bring life to your life. Ole'!
