Other than  PDO's page (of course!)  do you have any favorite ballroom dance pages that you frequent on facebook?  There are tons and tons of ballroom pages on facebook.  I think it would be nice to have a list, here in the link sub-forum, of any that strike you as good resources. What ids of things do you find useful on a ballroom facebook page?

I like the BYU page -- lots of notices about upcoming events and photos of older performances, without being too busy.

Thoughts, anyone?

here's another one.  Ballroom dancing.  It appears to have been around and mostly inactive for quite some time, but now, it seems they're trying to revitalize including some online discussion.

My partner just told me about Ballroom Index.  A very good site.

Wow - I created a topic for it on this board - and I left them a note and link to us so maybe they will add it.

Indeed. I am currently working through the Grey Book so it will be very useful for me.

True.  That's probably because people are using facebook for all sorts of things that it was never intended to do. Maybe FB and its tools will eovle as more businesses push the envelop.  There's a ton of information there already, though.  Great business networking opportunities, as well.

Thats the magic word - network - its a very dangerous place to upload anything truly personal that you might share witha real friend.

BTDT.  Learned that lesson long before I joined facebook.  Besides, now, I have almost as many friends who use it for business as pleasure.  FB is evolving.

There are tons and tons of dance studios that have a page, btw.  Some pages are definitely more equal than others.  Grin
