http://ballroomindex.weebly.com/index.html

An amazing resource with lists and instructions for syllabus figures in ISTD/IDTA international standard together with basic routines (there are no latin figures).

Strongly recommended for dancers at all levels.

A quick look tells me that, apparently, they have open steps, too.  Shocked. I always thought that in open, it is...well, do whatever you want  Grin

one would like to think that but in reality there are only so many things you can do within reason with two people dancing together and these have become codified over time.  I think its got so bad that most judges woudl mark you down if you really did something different.  Only world champions are allowed to do that!
