as if it could not get worse....now they have to deal with a nuclear disaster....

I don't know how they can recover from this it will take decades, I feel for them

but oddly, they are desperate for supplies and help - while the rest of the country seems to be continuing in dazed normality...

Interesting how these towns had virtually no concrete structures - some of these withstood the tide whereas all the wood ones were washed away.  That might be an easy way to provide as least some refuge...

I just dont know how difficult it is. the science is there but for some reason there is a group that is trying to plant doubt.. it must be over money but the short sightedness is that in the end there will be none left to sell too....I just wish they will get on with it.

In the space (er rather less than that actually) of a week, we here had a earthquake and a huricane. So much fun in the greater Baltimore/Washington area.
