This came up from L's new years post on the molton lead trick (never heard that - perhaps she can exound here).

How do you predict the future?  I think we all have some ways, for fun or for real.  Whats your crystal ball?

Go to a fortuneteller or a phychic.

If not, just use my intuition.

Predict the future? Meh... who's to say. But astrology does detail the rhythms, cycles, and the complex energies of the physical world. It's like...the music of the universe, all vibration, all sound, strictly & beautifully mathematical... with aspects of harmony, dissonance, unity, polarity, collectiveness, uniqueness, and profound & complex human archetypes... it's got it all.

What we make of it... that's up to each of us. Smiley

I believe we have a choice in making our future, it is not predetermined. If you believe in something passionately it will happen for you, you work hard to make it happen.

those that wait for things to happen will be sorely dissapointed.

It is a self beleif one has to have. I have it about my dancing, I truley belive I am can be as good as the others on the floor I train and work hard to make that happen,. I dont sit in a chair and think I can do it.

I occasionally have dreams that turn out to be either identical or very similar to what eventually happens in my life. I dreamed I was posting on here months before it existed. I get crazy deja vu all the time.

I dunno, I wouldn't call it predicting the future...I don't know that I've dreamed it until it happens and I say "Oh crap...I've been here before, doing this exact thing"

dreams are mostly paranoid confusion; will carry on with my escapist dark tea time of the soul novel, with its myriad of themes
actually that would make a good working title
