New Vogue is the story of love - a good couple is never boring to watch, and will never find it boring to dance. It has such an intimate, yet beautiful and glamourous connection between partners.
And yes, it's far more difficult than the other two styles. Not just because everyone's doing the same steps, but achieving quality of movement in the dances is that much harder.

I know the steps to all but the Tango Terrific, but I am nowhere near having up to comp standard, The closest we have is probably the Merrilyn, and that's only because we've done it so many times - it seems as if it's the default New Vogue dance for Bronze level. Occasionally the E3S takes its place, but not often.

Tango Terrific is so. Damn. Hard.
It and Excelsior are the hardest two NV dances in my opinion.
3 more competition wins (or a championship and a little comp... hello NSW Open) and we hit level 3. Once we do that we're just going to dance Opens, where we have some freedom to do some interesting things.

You, me, 1 2 at the Aussies Opens.
You can be 1 because you're Victorian so we have no hope

talk about learning them all. We have just downloaded the program for the Souths. We are going to do the 8 dance and the open new vogue. We have just about every nv dance there is to do with no double ups
We are going to work on Twilight arm slying tonight as we want to do some changes in that. We have already discussed with coach so she is ready for us.
Open is Twilight, Barclay, Lucille, Gypsy Tap and LaBomba.
Eight dance is Tracie Leigh, Carousel, Tango Terrific and Swing Waltz + usual four standard dances. - mummsie

That is alot,, but you are a champ and know most of them so you will be fine. Not sure if we will make it to souths, doing Canberra and looking at going to stickly Masters in October...
When partner has a job we will review next year
Great to see you here. I am sure you will agree it has an Aussie flavour
