Maximum 5 or 6 times, yellow and pink wore 3 or 4 times.sometimes after wear dress for comp or show once or twice, I would be approached by someone asking for try and buy the dress. Sometimes nice ones sold like that, sometimes after couple of usage, I would post on PDO or other sites for sale, but still wear for comps, and reduce price after more usage. Just trying to be reasonably price each dress

Depends, I usually don't get tired of wearing same nice dress. However it happened to me a few times, people liked my dress so much and cannot wait until I advertise to sell, so ask to buy sooner than I wanted to sell. I sometimes would let a dress go for the right offer, but it could be very stressful for me that someone cannot wait but want to purchase my best dress before a major comp. In this case, I cannot offer discount, because this is really very very inconvenient for me. Someone offered to buy my yellow shaded dress before Ohio, totally stress me out, I declined to sell before Ohio.

how long does it take for a dress to be made for you? I would think ou would need to factor that in?

2 or 3 months to make:( yes long time, definitely need to factor that in. If at blackpool or somewhere I see beautifully designed ready-to-wear dresses, I would just buy, beautiful dresses hard to come by, if something fits perfectly and looks good, I would buy immediately.

Definitely not good no good dresses before major comps, thus no discount for pushing to buy my best dress before major comp.

I was wondering where most people get their comp jewelry?  I bought some at competitions - but it is generally exorbitantly expensive.  however, for some things - such as very ornate hair combs - it seems the only place to find them.  My ear rings, however, which i adore I bought up the street a no more than a hundred yards from where I live!

I started making some. Bracelets and chokers are easy, and flat hair pieces are just one step up. I find that clip-on earrings on danceshopper are not that overpriced, though.

I know clip on are recommended because you won't loose your ear if you catch your sparkles in a passing gown Shocked but I really dislike them - they only work for jewels on the lobe and I like ones that hang down.

The black one is really my smooth dress, but I wore it for standard this time. The red one is my main standard dress.
