DS and I saw Despicable Me 2 today.  I have to say I think DS was a bit old for it, but there was something for everyone -- slapstick, silly stuff that was obvious enough to make a three year old laugh.  Very well hidden cultural references and super subtle double entendre so that adults wouldn't get bored.  I actually saw several multi-generational family groups there -- Mom and Dad with their parents and their children.  Perfect movie  for it.

The main character, Gru (sp?) reminded me of btm's online persona -- gruff on the outside but with a soft, soft heart when it comes to sprogs.  Cool  Smiley
