ok so tonight was the openers.

OMG ....

Kurt Warner – a Retired NFL quarterback
Kyle Massey – of That’s So Raven
Michael Bolton – needs no introduction (right?).
Brandy – pop singer
Margaret Cho – Drop Dead Diva comedian
Jennifer Grey – 23 years ago she starred opposite Patrick Swayze in the hit movie Dirty Dancing
Rick Fox – probably more known as Vanessa William’s ex-husband than being a basketball player for the LA Lakers.
David Hasselhoff – “The Hoff”
Florence Henderson – she is the “contestant-of-a-certain-age.
Bristol Palin – Sarah Palin’s daughter
Audrina Patridge – The Hills star,
Mike Sorrentino – “The Situation” of Jersey Shore

Only caught Jennifer Grey, The Situation and The Hoff dance.

Jennifer's performance I almost cried. she did VW to a song from DD. so cool
The Hoff and The Situation. OMG please let them go already. They are both rather pigeoned toed. Sigh ....

It is more important who they are as people and only then is it important who they are as dancers.~Marcia Haydee

Hate to say it, but such was my teenage-hood that every time I see Jennifer Grey, my first thought is "Ferris Bueller's sister".   Grin  Nonetheless, she did a find job.  You could tell it was really emotional for her.

Was that routine that Louis choreographed for Margaret Cho supposed to be a joke?  I thought it was awful.  I have to admit that I don't like Margaret Cho much, but that was really unfair to her.  I don't know what Louis was trying to prove.

Rick Fox and Bristol Pailn were pleasant surprises, much better than I thought they'd be.

As I wrote on FB, I'll cheer for Kurt Warner despite my being a Titans fan..   Shocked

I wonder if they will show it on Aussie TV. I am happy to watch other countries shows.
