I'm choosing to forego dinner tonight after a HUGE Easter Sunday lunch.

Were so busy creating posts for PDO that I almost forgot all about dinner. I don’t know how that could happen; I normally never forget to eat. A friend reminded me and I ended up having a small salad, steak with mushroom sauce and broccoli. For dessert I had a warm pecan pie with melting ice cream. Nice..

steak always sounds the most delicious but I often find that I actually enjoy fish more. So why is that?

I love fish. When I lived by the ocean, fish was often on the menu. Growing up we actually had fish 2 to 3 times a week. My mother would go to the local fishermen and pick them up from them. We always had fish that was court that same day; they couldn’t be fresher then that, I am more in meat country now. Well, that makes me enjoy fish even more when I can get it.

I love fish too .... but it has to be prepared properly.
its not so much the preparation - its the freshness. the stuff you get at the supermarket usually just does not cut it - you are often better off getting it frozen...
