Judge after last comp:
"Have you been practicing?"
followed by "you look worse than last time"

Just had to make a spot for that...

don you love comments like that.

we had a judge come up and tell us we were doing something incorrect....but when I asked my own coach he said that was not true. You have to love the way they feel they can be so called honest.. Unlkie you I did not ask for the advice.

Do they think you will come to them?Huh?hmmmmm

In this case, there is no expectation that we would take lessons - besides, I don't think thats how you get clients Shocked

no but some people have no idea...oh that they think well if I tell them they are not good they will come to me I have heard it before Roll Eyes

Not a comment as such, but I have had the experience of being placed second in a heat in which we had no competition.   Roll Eyes

I wonder if we would be wowed or disappointed?  I mean their legacy is in mechanics not perfomance exactly.

true, richard gleave mentioned that on the week-end. the topline has changed more for the man than the women....opening it out alot for when they were at their peak

My DW may have a new one this evening... she's taking a coaching with Steven Doherty this afternoon.  I was supposed to be in it too, but I have a work conflict.  Darn employment getting the way of my dancing!   Shocked

Not me personally, but I heard from someone last night that her mother and partner were told by a coach perhaps they they should sopend time with grandchildren as they are wasiting their time competting  Embarrassed

How dare they, people are on the floor for all different reasons.....
