Ah - thats it.  Well ballroom dancers would be awful off rhythm.

ACch ballroom dancers cant cope with cross-system and keep doing unled steps to stay in parallel...
'cross-system'? can you expound?

I moved this from the bragg topic.

BTM notes that ballroom dancers have a hard time wiht 'cross system' steps in AT.  Which made me wonder what 'cross-system' steps were (see reply above) and whether there are any in ballroom, or other partner dances for that matter...

I understand you to mean it with AT. But a cross system could also be learning and understanding how one "pattern" can be used in difrent ways.
ie: a box in waltz, rhumba fox trot

Maybe think of steps as being "inter related"Huh
