I'm doing a dance project on dancers of past eras... mainly concentrating on South Aussies at this point.  A couple of names that have come up, and for which I can't find much information are below.  Anyone with any information, photos or video/dvd footage of, I would really be very greatful for this information.  The dancers' names are:

Cheryl Donaldson
Karen Kirk
Daryn Utterson
Joseph Rossi
Dorothy Gonsalves
Nick Tunbridge
Marcus Halforth

Hi there - a very interesting question and I hope you get some answers.
Please not, however, while matters of history with regarding dance interests are entirely legit (and very interesting) we must respect privacy on anything that is not in the 'public eye'.  PDO does not want to be spreading gossip.

Which begs the question: are any of these people still alive?  If so I'm sure they would be the best source!!

And welcome again to PDO

What time period are these people from? I can try to ask some people I know.

Q: For the sake of respecting privacy I suggest you do the opposite.  Contact the target person and ask them if they mind you passing on their info.  I'm sure historian will give you his/her real name to pass on.

Its correct netiquette...

of course I would always ask the person first...I was just asking them to contact me so I could discuss their credentials

Historian has found it is good to have friends down under.

Nope we're up over.  I'm from the land "up over".  Hmmm, doesn't have quite the same ring for a song though does it?   Grin

Oh my,.... thank you all for your comments and direction....
My interest is purely fan-based.  I was a big fan of competition dance and through my childhood and youth (not sooo very long ago), I had favourites that I used to watch with awe and total admiration.  The era that I'm talking about is the late 1970s to about 1992.  Try as I might, I haven't been able to find any information on any of the names listed.  I did have a small collection of photos that I had taken whilst at competitions, but over the years with moving all over the world, somewhere, somehow I have lost the whole collection and am purely looking to 'replace' that particular 'chunk' of my life's memoirs.
