I can imagine that home practicing is like working at home, many distractions that can interfere with the process

I have linseed oiled maple floors (the same kind and treated the same way as dance floors in England (I guess I suffer for occupational habits Tongue)) in all my bedrooms and stone tiled floors in the rest of the house. I do have space to practice if I need and want to. I have even taught lessons in my house. The dance drills for the lady’s jobs can really be done in a closet so I have more then plenty of space to do them. I still do them once a month just to keep the memory fresh.
