dance parties

Hi,
I have a question that I'd like opinions.
What night of the week do you think a studio should have dance parties and do you think one a week is enough or do you think there should be more, like wed and saturday.
Assuming you have to pay $10 - $15 (average cost I've seen charged for party entrance) but you got soft drinks and snaks with that.??

wow, I'm 100%! I rule!
I like fridays - its the end of the week - but it does not use up sats which are to me more about socializing and less about dance parties. OTOH I don't belong to one studio and the studio is not the core of my social life. If it was then I would choose sat.
And once a week is enough for me - the rest of hte time is for practise...

I go for Fridays, I used to enjoy winding down for the week-end. one of our groups can only do it now on a Thursday, which is awkward as it use to be a shopping night.
Some of the shops are changing their time tables so might change my shopping day to a Wednesday so I dont have to use the end of the week and stress

Thank you both so far I hope I get more replies.
My studio is starting one on thursdays. They didn't have any before. I can't say I like thursdays.
Another studio that we go to for DH and myself lesson does theirs on a saturday. They used to do wed or thurs and got very little attendance and sats seem to work better for them.
For DH that is the better day as he sometimes has to work late and he feels more rested on the saturday than during the week.
I guess I will ask you do you think a studio should be open 7 days a week? Do you think a studio should be open/give lessons on sunday?
DH says he would dance more on a sunday during the day. If he could choose that would be his day for lessons. But we don't have kids.
Funny, I would think a dance studio would be more profitable to be open on a sunday (daytime) and closed on a monday daytime.

Sunday is one of my two main dance days - but I go to a studio that has no events and no parties! Its a small studio tacked onto a chartered accountants office that is funded purely by independents renting the space. Sunday mornings we are often the only couple and have complete freedom with the floor.
The other two studios (where we also take lessons) may have parties but actually I don't know.

I like our parties to be on Friday, because Dance World's are on Saturday.

Fridays!
Week nights are difficult for some, with work.

And I like Saturdays, because it means those of us that have a normal-hours job don't have to rush around like crazy to get ready and be at the studio by 7-8:00 when we've been at work all day. And it ends early enough that you can still go out afterwards if you want.

Maybe the ideal solution is to have a party both nights???
More work for the owner but just think how happy the students would be?
I don't know
Thank you all for answering. Keep them coming if you like
