Has anyone ever done a specific dance workout? I would like to start working out to help my stamina and build up the muscles necessary to look good while dancing (my torso needs a bit of work for latin Roll Eyes ) any advice in trying to create a dancing workout regime would be great Smiley

somewhere on here I did post a training manual from MIT that was very interesting, you might want to find it and read that to see if you can get any tips.

Of curse.

I think you should start with Yoga.
Yoga will work on your both figure and flexability.

I run every day something around 6-7 kilometers in order to loss some of my extra weight.
If one of you want to try this one, be sure to make some stercthes to your muscles both before and after the run,
very very very important for everyone and especially dancers.

I don't have much time for excercise - so dancing itself is the excersize for my dancing!  Of course there is a lot to be said for this since it uses exactly the right set of muscles/joints. OTOH I suppose one may run a higher danger of a use-injury.  Anyone know if thats true?
