Maybe it wasn't such a stupid decision to go with the vespa Wink

If the knee gets back on track I will be my race car again, after all Italy awaits in a few weeks. 11th July, am so looking forward to the experience.

Are you getting any therapy for your knee, QPO, or treating it in any way? Do you know what the matter is, and the cause?

Wishing you some speedy healing. Italy sounds very exciting...

Don'e push it.  You could do permanent damage.  As Sam said - get a medical opinion, preferably from a sports med expert.  Some injuries MUST be allowed to heal.

I went to the Doctor and he is not 10% sure what is causing the problem. I take some medication for 5 days, it it persists I will need to get further investigation, but am resting it....very frustrating thought but I know I have to do it....

have you ever had any specialized body-work done, like rolfing, resitance stretching, etc? spot-on with the car analogy, it feels like taking your body into a mechanic's shop for tinkering. Smiley

something like that might help you out over the long term...

where does it hurt?  Between the bones or behind the cap maybe?

It is under the knee cap on the inside part of the knee. I can move the leg forward and back reasonably easily, it is the twisting to the outside that is the problem.
