aT the begiinning of your post i thought you were upset that you only had tomatoes;
quite honestly if I was the Omlette chef I would have told you to stuff it......
I mean why didnt you ask for an omlete without eggs for goodness sake

went for breakfast at the 'hotel' on campus but its little more than a student cafeteria - though thats no excuse for the disgusting looking (let alone eating - never stayed to find out) food. So went a kilometer up the road to 'Bud's' - which is so called becauise it doesn't sell Bud' beer I think - and orderd the full breakfast without potatoes and with, yes, grilled tomatoes.
I've never seen such a repast: two longwise slices of a home made wholewheat toast, two large thick slices of fatless grilled ham, two eggs cooked to perfection - and the piece de resistance: a whole oval platter filled with thick slices of grilled tomatoes - but not just any tomato. These are 5 inches across, deep red and taste like tomato heaven. That with a cup of coffee $7.50. Same price, ironically, as the breakfast on campus... :p I think I'm set till dinner... oohff
I thik

Its a beautiful morning in Cabbagetown - sitting here in the diner having breakfast its easy to imagine the sea shore, small breaking waves and the view of the blue horizon just the other side of the bank accross the street.
Imagine - oddly there is no smell of sea salt...
