well, if you use IE then you get 15 minutes for each refresh without posting....
If, however, you switched to safari you would get 24 hrs a day...

I use firefox, i have tired the other one....chrome but did not work it properly

Yes  I am cold also....temp has changed very quickly, thankfully no wind,, but still cold all the same

yes there is - mine is with IE I think you use safari?  I only get time credited when I'm actually using PDO... you get it even when the computer is idle.

The question is whether it registers 15 minutes and then cuts off the connection or if it maintains the connection as long as you have the window open.  You can test it.  Log into PDO, write a message and then leave the computer on and the window open.  After an hour of no posting did your login time increase 1 hr or 15 minutes (as with IE).  I'm pretty sure it must be 1 hr which explains your low post/login ratio.

I'm on opera. Pretty sure it doesn't recognise the time you spend idle on the page...not sure about the 15 minutes.
Because I often leave my PDO open overnight, and the time doesn't go up a large amount.

me too. I am currently using Safari and it has not changed much for me either. I had a browser on all night but is idle so nothing registers
