Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did, but she did it backwards and in high heels.

It takes an athlete to dance, but an artist to be a dancer.

What is a jelly?
Jelly in a jar?
A jelly bean?
this must be something European that I have never heard of!

Here I thought that you meant “gel” and not "jelly". You actually did mean "jelly" the stuff that is eatable. I have never heard of that before. It is great if one should get a sugar craving or even get hungry.

Wow Malakawa you floored me.

Ooooh!  Gelatin.
Your mother combed that through your hair?
I can guess that your hair would've been nice a shiny after combing gelatin through your hair; probably made it nice and strong too!
All we need now is what flavor you preferred?

Yes, the smell could be really nice.

I, one time had to use shoe polish in my hair because I had forgotten the black hairspray. The smell around me was sooo bad that most couples stayed well away from us, which were actually a good thing. The only problem I and my partner had a hard time dealing with the smell ourselves.

I guess you Malakawa, smelled like cake.

I can stay in the shower for 2 hours with just hair spray.  Aquanet is still the best way to keep hair immobile.

That is what we used for synchronized swimming.  It was the best thing to use to keep the hair slicked back and out of the way during a three minute competition routine where most of it is spent under water.  The helmet head is quite the feeling. Tongue

Okay, I'm curious.  How do you apply that stuff to your hair?

I'd imagine you could use different flavors based on your hair color; blondes could use lemon, redheads cherry, and brunettes grape.  After all, they say you can use Kool-Aid to punch up your hair color in between dye jobs, so why not gelatin?

So you apply it when the gelatin is still liquid and hasn't set?  And then you just wait for it to dry and gel up?  Interesting...

I can see how that would work.
I know you can buy just plain (not flavored) gellatin at the store...doesn't need to be jell-o.

Okay, so who is going to be brave and try this at their next comp?
