excellent results all round I would say. Couple from australia came 11th which is excellent and I could not find Angelo Madonio and Alessia Betti, so I dont think they competed

Surely they must be - a bit disappointed no doubt to not beat Victor but they came pretty close and must be aware of the short lead time.
Next year is going to be very interesting indeed

Congrats to ALL the couples.  There was plenty of drama from the winners to the also-rans from everywhere. 
Particular congrats to the couples from the countries with organizations that were calling for a boycott.  That took courage and who knows what recriminations might ensue...

[PDO is, of course, international - though I think we need to boost our participation from overseas - in particular in Asia and Europe...]

Blackpool was so exciting for me, even though I'm here in Australia. I'm planning on being there in person next year. So yay! Thanks again for everyone's support of Liam and Lenae. It was back to lessons and practise for them yesterday. They have even more enthusiasm now, if that is possible!
