intresting that he would do that to you. how did you feel about that. we all learn in small steps. and i agree that it is inconsitenancy that stops us from getting to the top.
Remembr that this is a hobby and not a profession. If you did it all day everyday these issues would iron out more quickly.

funny that I have two interests that seem so different and yet have rather similar needs - frame is crucial for the violin too or you end up injuring yourself (and never sound relaxed). Its also an ongoing project...

Today I learned to just keep moving FORWARD and back. I must just keep going, using my flexibilities.
Also did some 'looking forward' in my samba.

Since this posting my balance has improved. Pilates and core work has helped but the fact that the knee is stronger (not perfect) has helped. V says that I am not so heavy
but Balance is something that I will continue to work on so important.

we had our last lesson before flying out of Australia tomorrow. Feel that the dancing is doing well. We will be having lessons in Holland and have remarked that I dont want them to change anything of the routines just refine them.
I can make adjustments when V instigates them, but I don't want massive change, to integrate them quickly has not yet been perfected

understood - its one of the touchy points of being a follower: familiarization takes far more repetition than it does for the lead so we don't want to have to endure this immediately before a comp.
that said, the goal is to be 'routine independent'; following the lead of the moment, not the routine in your head

Important. Very important, especially since lads occasionally blank out on the competition floor. Definitely follow the lead.

That my ability of making changes it coming to a new level. they are much quicker to embrace. very happy with that. Saw a great move in NZ by a professional and wanted to incorporate into our routine.
having a night off now with our dancing at the moment and it is all fine, work on the virtual stuff that night
