Can you expand on that a little bit?

New coach eh?

After a few of these you realize that dancing has to be how YOU make it, not the coach. You just glean what works for you from each one and then put it together. Voila!

Actually I was meant to say "unlearn everything I have learnt in the past 12 month" before that was good, I was kind of taught the right thing, but just not how to do them. Weird ey...I know too. It makes so much more sense now! So exactly like you said, I'm putting them together (minus the past 12 month) and voila!

Getting Bolero into my repertoire now, so far have the basic, underarm turn to crossover, point break, hip twist. So far so good. Only real issue so fa is my tendency to rush the long, slow step.

how to carry my partner round!

DC (dear coach?) is trying to improve my frame and I was dancing with him pressing down on my shoulder blades.  I hope it helped cause now I'm a bit sore. OTOH did get quite a work out...

It wasn't quite that bad - but wow, did it get the message accross!  I don't think my frame is that bad - but its inconsistent, I have not learned to keep it stable when going into PP for example.  Will this help?  Lets see...
