From what I understand, I think he's only going to Melb and Brissie this time.

That might be a once in a lifetime chance to get some training from one of best standard dancers ever, IMHO.

sound cheap... a 45 minute lesson would probably be more than that...

I have seen a poster at the studio I will see, he may be coming to Adelaide but most probably it was promoting in Melb tour.
He likes Australia for some reason. Or does he travel to every other country too?
Andrew has lived in the US, Russia, Hong Kong and of cause the UK.
Like most professional finalist he travels the world teaching and coaching. There are not many professional finalists that stay in one place and only teach/coach there. The business is world wide once you reach that level.

He is a dance teacher.
Let me explain what I mean. In Europe most couple that reach a high level have danced both Standard and Latin to a fairly high level (I would say at least the top 24). Andrew was very good in both styles. I seem to remember he was a world champion in 10 dance or at least very close. When you reach the level that Andrew did then it is quit normal to teach all styles. I don't know what he is most comfortable teaching but I would think it would be Standard. He was I think 3rd in the British Open in Professional before he retired. He was a great dancer with immaculate footwork and leg action.

British myself.
Started dancing with the Manchester Students Dancesport Society (MSDS for short). Main instructor at the time was Bob Dale. He was a former instructor to Marcus and Karen as well as Donnie and Gaynor - being a beginner I wasn't able to take suitable advantage of the opportunity). I danced there for 2 years as well as dancing at Cadmans (Sale, just outside of Manchester, instructor Wayne New???) and Connections (Levenshulme, Bob
). I was dancing 5-6 nights a week including a coupel of nights salsa at Copacabana (city centre).
All I really remember was that I had a whale of a time - and stayed at it once I moved to Canada.
Coming back for a visit back half of this year. Intending to visit the old haunts as well as find somewhere near Chester-le-Street (Durham area) to introduce my mum to (if I can).
