That happens sometimes. *shrug*

I was thinking more along the lines of the days when there's just plain work to be done.  For example, in the days when DF was just getting started, I committed to an average of 30 posts a day,same as here.  Some days,thirty posts came and went in a flash.  Other days, it took HOURS.  It was a lot like here when I joined.  A commitment to say at least 30 substantive things every day, with nobody to say anything back a lot of the time.   But I had made the commitment to do thirty, so I did 30 (more accurately, >= 210 a week.)

I think that,sometimes,people have a vision of what they want to happen but have no idea what that vision entails.   So, after the novelty wears off, if the resources -- financial, people, help,support, aren't there, people burn out and the very best intended projects go awry. *sigh*
