Fair resale price

I need a quick answer - what would be a fair price to ask for a set - necklace and clip-on earrings - which cost $250 new. It is in like new condition and I will put new pads on the earrings before selling them.

But I guess we can use this thread for other similar questions.

hmmm... 3/4 of the original price? if in pristine condition and 1/2 ....very hard one I don't know how jewelery holds its price

I think its usually over-priced when you buy it so it doesn't hold its value.  The problem is that its so personal you have to find exactly the right buyer...

It's a ballroom jewelry and another person was interested in buying this kind of set for her new dress. And since I am selling the dress I bought it for, a mutual friend told her about it and she might be interested.

Yeah, would be nice if she bought it. But if not, I can always hold on to it for a future green dress.

jewelery is something that does not necessarily date too much, as you say can it mix and match
